Lunatic Hey mars, if you're creating a new character, do so in the early morning. They raise and lower character creation limits hourly almost. If you're bringing back your 1.0 character, you'll be fine. Got to have you try Ifrit again. It's so much less likely to wipe now!

Out of curiosity, did anybody do anything with their original characters in beta? I'm too chickensh*t to do anything with them.

Lumia Goldenheart I ran around and did all the lowbie quests, and started the story line in Gridania. I also threw away all of my cracked materia thinking they were worthless…. (see above)... And I complained a lot about not being able to use my grand company gear because I didn't get a chance to rejoin the Twin Adders. I also messed around with dying clothes since I had a bunch of that sitting on a retainer.

Hey guys. been away from beta for a while. just downloaded the new update and started creating a character, but what server is everybody on? There's no Balmung?
Garalonde I heard Balmung will not be available until the final release. I took Marboro because…well, that was all that was left for NA when I logged. I read these servers were temporary when I logged on with my new character.

Is anybody else leveling or going for the blacksmith luminary and need mats for a 31-40 synth? I "accidently miscalculated" and have far too many Steel Squarese which is good for crafting only one recipe BSM 35 Steel Spear Clasp.

Yay! got THM to 50, so who's up for helping me with the BLM quests and then tackling Ifrit? Also, I have about 700 Black Pearls so if anybody needs any Black Pearl anything, just bring me an Electrum Ingot and I'll make it for you.

Something tells me I'm not going to be one of those players enjoying this: "Rivenroad (Hard)" is currently the most punishing battle available in FINAL FANTASY XIV, and we intend for players to enjoy this as a special challenge after completing the main story.
