Inuyasha they were minimal when they shouldve been done 2 years ago, but thats cool. i mean, you know, taking GCDs out to sing a song that then would lower your DPS heavily after. 10% and 1.5 sec (Or less) cast times shouldve been the standard from the beginning and that BV recast reduction is well beyond late. Yknow, cause the main point of BRD is to be handicapped in its overall function cause "balance" and shit.

Haxetc BV is OP. Why should it have a reduced recast? If you play the job correctly you don't lose much dps at all. This is another case of "shit players complaining about the job so let's make it way overpowered". Each job has its benefited role. The unnecessary damage buff they have bard just makes the jobs more unbalanced.

Cecilia Tyyne Playing Devil's Advocate here. The Sidewinder "buff" is very minimal and is still nowhere close to what it used to be. The songs having a shorter cast time is okay, but the damage penalty being reduced to 10% is nice. I do, however, agree with Hax that reducing Battle Voice's recast is stupid good as it has perfect synergy with casters using Raging Strikes.

Cecilia Tyyne Doubling Blunt Arrow's potency should have been done long ago, too. It not only has a longer recast than Head Graze/Suppressive Fire, it is the only interrupt BRD has.

Cecilia Tyyne Actually, by that logic Heartbreak would be buffed to rival Misery's End. Heartbreak is 180 potency and has a 30s recast, while Misery's End is 190 potency with a 12s recast. Either Heartbreak's potency would be increased or have its recast decreased to be more on par with Misery's End.

Haxetc You can't do a direct comparison of abilities on jobs. That's not how this game works. The overall potency increase per minute is pretty retarded. I think SE just throws a dart at buffs they're going to implement. They do a good job at overbuffing DPS jobs for some reason.

Inuyasha Game is dying because 8 people on 8 separate jobs that play mostly the same way in their roles with slight tweaks are worried about being "Overpowered" than the 7 other people in the same instance. Its not like the game would be hard to "Balance" if they undid every useless nerf that theyve ever done nor would it be hard to develop content against players at all with how they already develop fights.

Inuyasha also, pretending like they didnt fuck themselves over by designing the game around the first eight jobs and then add more jobs that blatantly replace certain jobs or are intentionally dead on arrival so they wont blatantly replace certain jobs in the same role.
