AudYeah we find it really useful for keeping track of raids, plus anyone in our group can edit it so easy to warn people ahead of time if you might not be able to raid
Coco Lillyi'd take the time to make sure everything was updated for the week, raid time comes around and someone is late or doesnt show up and they are like "i didnt know we were raiding"
AudYeah, this eliminates that problem, we implemented this at the beginning of 3.0 and we've had 0 scheduling problems since then

aaaour FC uses a guild wide spread sheet for scheduling. Each group has their own page that is part of a giant spread sheet, we schedule raids on it and list our own individual availability

aaathis way if someone needs a sub, they can look at all groups and go "Oh this person who plays this job is free and they aren't raiding, I will ask them to fill in"
Coco Lillyits easier to implement that when you run a guild i think. i ended up leaving that group and it forced them to become self sufficient. it was like i was their mom and they were all the babies and then they had to grow up lol

aaaI am over the top punctual much to my wife's sadness when I wake her up for something, so people not showing or being irresponsible and saying "I didn't check the document since 2 days ago" when I send out messages saying "Raid @ x time" once its updated and telling them again to check the document is one of my trigger points for sure

aaaMy other one is when I post summaries on the forums of what each person's responsibilities are for each fight and what our overall plan/strat is
aaaanyway that's an unrelated leadership rant. But in terms of organization if you don't organize people they will run wild and having something to hold people accountable to is a necessity IMO

Coco Lillyi feel ya sean. i *hate* when someone doesn't respect the 7 other peoples time. whether it be not researching the fight/listening to strats or showing up late, i view it all as disrespectful
aaaEveryone is busy, but if you at least say something that's one thing, but when you get no word that someone hasn't had time to prepare and then they show up and go "Wait what? lol is this on the forums" my blood begins to boil
