@Peacekeeper @Begonia @Thoraeon Just wanted some feed back on this. We know how I am with Rdm, and we know Rdm is about DoT. I'm curious if maybe a "Multi-Hit" magian wouldn't be good on Rdm DD. OAT because it's high proc rate, 2-4 because that takes me to 2-8 hits if it procs, or Double Attack because it would compliment Temper. Thoughts?

Ranulf If I remember correctly, OAT and DA/TA/QA don't play nicely with each other.

Marth Stille Yeah, DA kills OAT proc rate, so I was leaning more tword DA sword over that oe. DA sword would put my Rdm at like 35% Double Attack.

Ranulf Also remember, too much DA has diminishing returns. Just use your Joyeuse if you have one. Save yourself the time.

Marth Stille I didn't think "Too much" DA came into play unless you had something stupid like 50%+.

Bruno I have another friend that DDs on RDM and we both make efficient use of the DPS Spreadsheets to figure out his sets. I know this isn't really my job to talk about, but I figure the numbers don't lie..

Bruno using a setup like this for TP, and some general realistic Requiescat/CDC sets varying in and out of Abyssea, targets, subs, Temper on and off, Excalibur/Almace mainhand, and comparing OAT/DA Magian VS STR Shikargar, only in1 or 2 situations did I find OAT to come close to STR.

Bruno DA, however, came very, very close, almost completely even in some circumstances, but never beat STR Shikargar. Maybe with some additional COR/BRD buffs DA Khadga might pull ahead(?), but I would say it's just safe to stick with STR Shikargar.

Peacekeeper If I can find it again there's a thread on FFXIAH.com that explains the exact relationship b/t OA2 and DA/TA/QA gives the proper equations etc, there are values where multi attack doesn't hurt OA2 and TA/QA are always better anyway

Peacekeeper Also, on the diminishing returns, You technically start out with them, but they get larger as you go higher in DA%, this being why you don't notice it at lower values, it loses potency, but it's never "useless"
