The Guildwork v2 project started around November 2011 with the goal of cleaning up the codebase and redesigning the site in a way where it will support customization. I think today I can proudly say that all those goals have been accomplished.
New design.
New character add flow which is far more user friendly.
Guild sites rebuilt from the ground up for customization.
Access level based permission system.
Guildwork XMPP
Many new guild site widgets.
and much more….
But the real truth about v2 is that the release is just the start! Here is some stuff that I plan to work on in the following weeks.
Create documentation, examples and videos for customizing guild sites.
Create a simple user interface for customizing site colors without having to understand CSS.
Ability to register for Guildwork by adding a character.
Rebuild the recruitment module from scratch.
Rebuild the DKP module from scratch and address all the input that has been collected in the last year.
Rebuild the feed to support rolling up similar posts, moderation features, etc…
SWTOR support as soon as BioWare adds guild profiles.
I hope you enjoy this new version of Guildwork and please report any bugs as soon as possible!
Thank you.
Site owners please double check the access levels on your Forums, Pages and Wiki.
So after April 27, those of us not paying the monthly subscription of $8.95 for the "Rare" plan will no longer be able to customize our sites and widgets? Am I reading it right?
I currently have on my site 2 DKP pools, and if i read right they will become one after 27th of april if i'm staying with the free plan? Do i have to delete one?
now how do we edit the page and the looks now ? Is it all in CSS or am i just over looking something?Killacalli
Global Template, Global CSS and every single widgets has its own settings

You will be able to use the Global Stylesheet since your site was created a long time ago basically giving you all the features you had on the old Guildwork, but the new stuff will go away.

It is a soft cap meaning you won't be able to make more, but no you don't have to delete them.
I've had some issues adding a few members and having our Linkshell for FFXIV recognized since the server mergers. We were previously Mysidia, which is now Gungnir.
So, I have been unable to change Guild: (No Guild) to Guild: Stormlight, even though our Linkshell shows up int he database.
