Relogging or restarting FFXI?

When logging back and fourth to mule every 4-5th time i get a message saying "Play online viewer has stopped working" and it will take me back to the login screen. When loggin back in it happends 2-3 times again. Lastnight I though It could be the windower or the DLL so I reinstalled everything. After a fresh install it took me 3 attempts untill I got logged back in. It seems to happed often when I zone and or log to mule. Is this on my end?

I doubt its the plugin, but I suggest disabling it for a and attempting the same thing. Does it persist?

I've read your discussion about the origin of this problem, it seems your advice is to restart FFXI, reload GW client, and/or zoning. None of the above are working for me.

Satchel inventory is being misreported despite working fine in FFXI, even emptying it (in game) has GW client shows it w/ "0/60 != 2/60" items.

This happened to me, and my solution ended up being to rollback my macros and settings to a previous backup that I had made using the login screen.

I don't know how that fixed it, but it did.

BTW this was back when guildwork was a standalone client. I think it's definitely a ffxi problem since the game was also reporting incorrect numbers.

A ghetto fix has been pushed for this.

As soon as I logged on today and logged to my mule "play online viewer has stopped working " and it closes everything out. When logging everything goes well, sometimes it doesn't do it for 5-8 mule logs and then sometimes it will do it every mule log, but it only seems to do it when logging out.

Well have you disabled the Guildwork problem to isolate it to it? This could very well be another plugin or just your Windower installation.

Yes, I have disabled it. I don't have any other plugins. All I have is the windower and the dll. Should I try to reinstall the windower?

Windower comes with plugins which could be out of date.
