A way to set that if you get a tell in game, the GW plugins sends you an email would be nice

and a toggle on/off like

/pmemail on or something

Sorry havent read through but gonna put my suggestion in anyway. There is alot of anger and drama on the site main feed and it due to what people define as the use for #ffxi. Unfortunately due to the way hashtags are used on the site, its not going to please everyone what people use the #ffxi tag for but perhaps we can try to promote the use of different hashtags.

I was wondering on the main feed page down the righthand side if it was possible to have a "popular hashtags today" box where you can see what people have been hashtagging about, click on them and read the feed for that hashtag and then subscribe to it if they like the look of it.This way we may be able to calm some of the argumenting we are currently getting.

The drama on the feeds isn't so much about how tags work and everything to do with 5 or 6 people who continually crap all over ffxi related posts and make threads full of 4chan memes, racism and sexist remarks. If Stan wants this when people log on then he can kiss this site being a decent gaming forum goodbye forever.

If these people won't get banned then GW is going to become a 4chan live feed ruled by this handful of morons. We shouldn't have to blist these trolls, they'll just make a mule to annoy people anyway. They need to get banned. Permanently. Period. It's beyond annoying now. And if you ask around other FFXI related forums, this kind of trolling is why many people don't use the site anymore.

The Guildwork feed is and always was one of the minor features of the site and has not caused any large number of people to stop using it. In fact Guildwork usage has increase drastically int he last month alone. Throwing around random facts does not convey a point.

That said I do moderate the feed and have warned and banned people for things they have post. I have added the reporting feature and I delete posts that people may find offensive. That said the global channels are public and are a side feature of the site and if you don't like the #ffxi posts its very easy to unsubscribe from them.
